Each season, $1000 sponsorship is awarded to an athlete who shows outstanding potential in the sport. The sponsorship is broken up into 10 equal installments over the season. Athletes who receive the sponsorship commit to finishing the season with Arizona Synergy. If an athlete leaves for reasons beyond their control, the remaining undistributed funds are forfeited. If an athlete leaves before the conclusion of the season for any other reason or chooses to compete with another club, the entire amount of the sponsorship is retracted and becomes due to the club. Recipients are selected in August of each competitive year by club management.

Athletes who have been swimming a minimum of 3 years, are at least 14 years old, and have an interest in coaching, may apply for an opportunity to become a Junior Coach - in - Training. They commit to co-coaching the recreational classes at least once a week under the tutelage of a credentialed coach. In return, their monthly club dues (excluding competition incidentals) are waived for the season. If a selected Junior coach elects to leave the club before the end of the season for any reason, the waived club fees for the entire season become due and payable in full. Aspiring coaches may apply by contacting the head coach and are selected and notified in November for the Spring competition season.

Synergy is supported by an active booster club dedicated to lowering monthly tuition costs for families. Fundraisers are held regularly to help offset tuition fees. Booster club membership is optional. Contact Mark Kremer (602) 717-5010 for more information .
